OUR MISSION

As a charitable organization, For The Love Of Edie aims to commemorate Edie Black and help others who have been affected by or live with mental illness as well as other ailments.

Walk for edie

The first annual Walk for Edie took place on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Lynch Park in Beverly, MA. The 1st annual walk was a huge success. Thank you to everyone who participated and donated. We couldn't have done it without all of your love and support.

Our hope for the future of this organization and walk itself, is to inspire as many people as possible to walk together along one of Edie’s favorite routes in Beverly, MA. Representative of positivity and overall health of the body and mind, we believe that coming together for this event will help celebrate Edie’s memory and create a community bond for future Walks for Edie and other events. WHAT WE want to ACHIEVE

Through community events such as the Walk For Edie, our goal is to raise awareness, provide information, and connect people. It is our hope that in the years to come, the walk will continue to grow in terms of participation and its impact on the community as a charitable and memorable event.

  • All proceeds from the Walk For Edie and any future donations made to For The Love Of Edie will go directly to the 501(c)(3) charitable foundation in memory of Edie Black. Proceeds will be used to support future events, raise awareness among communities and help support annual scholarship(s) in the name of Edie Black. The first annual scholarship was awarded and distributed on May 31st, 2017.
