Who is Edie?
Edie Black was an extraordinary woman. A mother to two young boys, a sister, beloved daughter, and friend to many, Edie was a bright light and a warm soul.
Famous for the crinkle in her nose and the brightest of smiles, Edie had a contagious laugh that everyone around her embraced. Positive energy and enthusiasm flowed from Edie and those who met her instantly felt the warmth of her personality. With careers in healthcare and higher education, and a published novel The Price of Fame, Edie accomplished more than most in the 45 years she shared with us. She is missed every day.
Scholarship
There will be an annual scholarship(s) in the name of Edie Black. The first annual scholarship will be awarded and distributed in 2017. Candidates will be reviewed and selected based on Edie's interests and pursuits, but not limited to a specific area of study.
